If you want to apply to Google Adsense. It is important to use your own images or find those that are royalty free. This will be a short post so let’s start with the list.

I use it almost on a daily bases. It offers tons of great images and all free. Site has great search function and far superior to others.

There are many excellent sources of photos on the Internet that are free to use in your articles. One of the best organized sources is Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia currently contains 41,859,023 media collections. Everyone is allowed to copy, use and modify any files here freely as long as they follow the terms specified by the author.

Flickr is huge image source. They have great advanced search where you can specify: orientation, size, date and colour. Definitely go-to site.

Royalty-free

Wikipedia definition: Royalty-free, or RF, refers to the right to use copyright material or intellectual property without the need to pay royalties or license fees for each use or per volume sold, or some time period of use or sales.

Basicly Royalty free means you can use them for free. In some cases, you will need to give credit to the author and that is it.
