Good list of IDEs and editors. I miss however the reference IDE for Java and one that supports many other languages through a very powerful plugin ecosystem – Eclipse. Although this is maybe not the first choice of most designers, I am pretty sure for developers this is one of the most used IDEs. Cheers!

How could VIM be out of any list like this? This is one of the most used text editors ever in Unix/Linux world. This list sucks!
